For a private client, even one who wins, the details of a dispute can define their search results for years, and now the answers AI assistants give about them too. The editor accepted a pitch promising four things, so the article needs to cover all of them:
1. How judgments surface in search results and AI assistants
2. What clients rarely understand before trial (a public hearing means a permanent record, winning doesn\\'t remove it, anonymity has to be sought at the time)
3. What can and can\\'t be done afterwards: anonymisation applications, delisting requests to search engines, and publishing accurate context
4. Why barristers should raise this with clients early. It would be good to end with a few questions counsel could ask a private client at the outset.<\/p>
